Stop Worrying About What People Think
Ever wonder if people are talking badly about you behind your back? What do you worry about in terms of your image and reputation?
If you value authentic growth and self development, then stop worrying so much about what other people say about you and instead take time to check your own shadow projections:
“In what ways am I talking badly about others behind their backs?”
“Where am I being unconscious with my speech?”
“Am I holding hidden grudges or secret resentments?”
Shadow Work doesn’t have to be complex… sometimes it’s as simple as choosing to not engage in shallow, low-awareness behaviours and patterns, but this process demands honest reflection.
You might’ve grown up in a family where gossip and drama was normalised, but these kinds of communication habits are fundamentally draining and will sap your energy over time.
If you’re not going to say it to their face, then I suggest you turn to your journal instead.
Dump it out, dissolve the pain, and move on.
You’re here for better things,
Jordan
Fun Fact: If you stop feeding gossip and shadow resentments, you’ll rapidly start attracting better quality friends who are more direct in their communication and likewise avoid squandering your focus and emotional resources on worthless drama.
